We opened our doors as Little Nest Portraits in June 2017. Over the past 3+ years, we have survived more than we thought possible, with Covid becoming the truest test of our strength.

When hardships rise up, so do the things that matter most. We shed the baggage holding us back in life: the old systems; the ways of doing things that settled into our day-to-day. With those things gone and with a softened look at what matters most, we landed on one truly valuable thing.

Family.

But not just ours. Yours too. We only made it through 2020 with the help and support of our guests and family.

The change of our name simply goes hand in hand with the change in our hearts. So let it be known we are the same people providing the same great service, beautiful photography and delightful experience.

Portraits are my return ticket to moments past.

Reese is my firstborn. And with all firstborn children, I was enamored by all that she was. I cried when she outgrew her newborn diapers. I cursed her tiny teeth that changed her gummy smile. I saved all her first onesies. I didn’t want her to change. If I could have tossed a penny in a well and wished her to be a newborn forever, I would be a poor woman.

But oh! The things I’d be missing today! My precious boy Owen and our darling youngest Mila, I’ve now grown to love all the changes and growth I see in these little people.

So I’ve conceded to time’s pesky insistence of marching onward.
